As a nonprofit credit counseling agency, ACCC is always interested in consumers’ financial habits. Each month we post a poll asking questions about a particular financial topic. For the month of October, we wanted to find out how much money our readers were spending on Halloween. Budgeting is always important for a holiday. From candy and costumes to decorations, Americans will spend an estimated $6.9 billion in 2015. But only 53% of our respondents plan on spending money on Halloween items this year.
