Do you qualify for student loan forgiveness?
When you have a lot of student loans, student loan forgiveness programs can be a very attractive option for getting out of debt.
Student loan forgiveness is available to borrowers who choose to enter certain fields as they start their career. Forgiveness programs are designed to encourage bright young minds in America to give back by entering fields such as teaching, public service, healthcare and the military. There are both federal and state student loan forgiveness programs, each with different criteria for qualification.
If you think you may qualify for student loan forgiveness or want to learn more about possibilities for student debt relief, contact the professional credit counselors at American Consumer Credit Counseling (ACCC). As a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping people find their way out of debt, we offer free credit counseling and can help you better understand your options for student loan forgiveness.

- Deferment and forbearance plans that enable you to stop making payments on your loans for a period of time.
- Student loans consolidation, where you consolidate student loan debts by taking out a new loan with a lower interest rate to help lower monthly payments and/or pay off your debts more quickly. Our counselors can help you evaluate offers from various student loan consolidation companies.
